New identity for green start-up.
We’ve just completed a new identity and stationery range for green waste management company Greenfurb. The company deals with the public as well as b2b so they wanted a point of differentiation from the normal waste disposal companies.
In the long term they are looking to have their own fleet of vehicles and their own waste transfer station. The identity needed to be flexible in order to tap into other markets within the construction industry – refurbishments, eco housing, etc.

Vertigo Lounge coming to Hornchurch
Vertigo Lounge is a new 3-storey premium cafĂ© / lounge bar with alfresco roof terrace experience that opens in Hornchurch in May 2011. Â
Vertigo is focused around social interaction – a premier destination led venue for discerning clientele who aspire to a sophisticated lifestyle. The space presents an adaptable platform to support a variety of functions that allow it to evolve from its daytime use as a place to meet, drink and eat to its evening role as a destination bar and social hub.
four-letter word and Q&A Interior Design have worked together on the project. The brand identity was informed by and plays with the principal of height and allows an element of discovery to the Vertigo mark. The element of discovery is mirrored in the interior design as you are encouraged to move up and explore the space via an open staircase.
Stephen Quiddington of Q&A comments “We had to be careful not to become too exclusive for daytime use considering its location, so it had to have a cafe feel during the day but with intelligent use of lighting and the coffee point hidden away it could still feel like a bar/lounge in the evening”
